The Conservation Commission will meet on Tuesday, April 15 at 5:30 at the town hall, to discuss the following: pesticides, roadside cleanup, Sewall Pond access and trail work, alewives, Packard’s Landing, summer bioblitz, animal road crossings, and water quality testing schedule. Our volunteer Fire Department needs your help. There are a lot of things to do that would support the team, for example delivering food on extended calls. Additional volunteers would be helpful for a variety of tasks like directing traffic or assisting Bath Ambulance respond to EMS calls. We will provide the training! Milly Stafford Annual Spring Roadside Cleanup

Now that the snow banks have melted back, it’s time to start thinking about hauling away the winter’s accumulation of trash. The Conservation Commission and the Recycling and Solid Waste Committee will once again team up to organize the “Milly Stafford Annual Spring Roadside Cleanup,” and all are cordially invited.

We will meet at the town hall on Saturday, April 26 at 9:30 a.m. Folks will be able to sign up for a section of road to cover, and take with them a set of color-coded trash bags (black for trash, white for returnables and recyclables). In case of rain, we will postpone the cleanup to Sunday the 27th, same time.
