Could you be part of the fire and emergency response team?

Come and see for yourself. Visit us at the fire station on Stafford Lane during our monthly training, held the third Saturday of each month from 8:00–10:00 a.m.

If you are physically capable, dependable, courageous, and able to stay calm under pressure, we encourage you to get involved. We especially welcome community members with a basic understanding of mechanical or power equipment, safe chainsaw skills, or an interest in becoming a firefighter. Basic Fire School and Firefighter I & II training are available in Maine, and our Saturday trainings are a great way to become familiar with the department, equipment, and team.

There is another important support role for members who can respond when available, day or night, to assist emergency medical personnel during EMS calls in their neighborhood.

Request for Help

Sometimes the simplest acts of support can be very important…we need someone who would be willing  reliably to set out the garbage and recycling cans for the town hall on the Thursday of trash and recycling pickup weeks. Contact Irene at irene.burgess@arrowsic.org if you might be interested.
